If you wish to become a member of this board, you must select the "J" option from the main menu to join the BBS. To receive full access to the board, you must wait to be validated by the SysOp, which should usually happen within 24 hours. A few things to know about TransAmiga : TransAmiga has a few features you may wish to know about. You can retrieve lines that you have previously entered into the BBS by pressing CTRL-K, TransAmiga keeps track of the last 20 commands you entered. You can also erase the current line completely by pressing CTRL-X. If your terminal has ANSI graphic capabilities, it is recommended you turn ANSI on, then you can also use the cursor keys, the backspace key and the delete key to edit the current line. ANSI users can also use the full-screen editor for writing messages. When you enter commands in TransAmiga, you must press RETURN at the end of a line. However, you can "stack" several commands on one line, and TransAmiga will process the entire batch at once. If you prefer, however, you may switch to hotkeys, where commands are processed immediately without pressing RETURN. At just about any menu, you can press "H" to get explanations about available commands. Rules: I don't like to have too many rules, but a few are necessary so here they are: * Be courteous. No swearing, "hacking," or insults. * Do not upload any pirated software. Do not even talk about piracy. If you're a pirate, get the hell off my board. * Keep in mind that I am giving up My time so you can use this BBS. Keep in mind also that there are other people on this BBS, so please keep their feelings in mind too. In short, have fun but don't be an idiot.
